Not much. $2? There are countless unopened rolls out there. The coins inside usually don't look too nice either--1962 cents usually coome with some pretty bad copper-milk spots. -

The flecks are milk spots and can never be removed. Sorry. This subject is talked about often around here. The show up on a lot of 1950's and 1960's proof Frankies and Kennedys and ASEs. -

disagree too like silver eagles with their..."got milk"...issue maybe someone find a tpg accepted chemical pressure spraying way to 50k and address those black spots while he's at it -

I like the idea very much! With all the milk spot problems related to Silver Eagles, it would be very nice to see a series of white coins running on a cheaper metal than Platinum... -

This is one "rarity" I feel very comfortable just passing by and saying no thanks. I think the price has substantial downward potential. I might wait for the milk spotted variety to appear. -

PCGS no longer guarantees (and conserves for free) coins that develop environmental damage. They dropped that at least six years ago. I think the silver milk spotting uproar was the metaphorical straw. Lance. -

Nothing is said about how the silver planchets were rinsed to remove the cream of tartar and then dried. Anybody want to bet that it is the cause of the milk spots found on Peace dollars and 1921 Morgans? -

I.m going to check my ASE's and dip them in acetone, then check them in 20 years [or my heirs will {probably not} ] and let you know if that helped in preventing milk spots. :smile:
