I have an aversion to milk spots, so I would never collect them. Can you imagine 1200 Collectors actively pursueing 1/2 cents or 20 centers? -

I bought a yellow monster box of 08's in 2008 from Tulving. They came in 25 coin tubes with a yellow top. Quite a few of them have developed "milk" spots. -

My budget is larger, so my parameters for the dates with color suffixes is each coin must be at least MS65RB or higher. 1859 - 1864 copper/nickel at least MS65. I have a few of these. They are considered legal gender. However, due to the high relief, they will not fit into the standard 40.6mm airtite. Unfortunately after a few weeks they all started milk-spotting something awful. -

Try The ASE set's. I push these on everyone. Just lookout for the milk spots. They are very nice looking coins. Whatever you choose, have fun & do your home work. -
