Re: Selling Mercury Dime Set advice/help???

You should work your individual contacts and BST first and foremost. This will avoid the 15-17.5% etc fees everywhere. You know the value of most of your coins pretty well. If you need further advice on the value of an item you can ask me or others around here. Good photos plus good knowledge and you should be able to sell… -
Re: Should I feel guilty or bad? (coin shop story)
<< <i>I would of held him to it ...the deal was closed. I'm sure if he had sold you a 1/4 ounce for the price of a 1/2 ...he wouldn't think twice about it. If you realized it later on and went back to the store, it would be your word against his ..and guess what? you lose. A deal is a deal and sure mistakes happen but… -

Re: Is this a two-tiered market?
Hi Djord. Thank you for your comments. You make some very solid points. << <i>Maybe the unions set the path of destruction by paying tow motor operators $75,000.00 a year. >> But consider that the tow operator making 70k per year is doing a job that yields significantly more production (and profit) for his employer. Now,… -

Re: O/T does anyone know anything about stamp collecting?
It depends a lot on what she collected (US, World, Canada, etc.) and the condition she collected them in (Mint NH, Used, Mint hinged) and the values of the stamps (few of the lower face values are collectible, even over the last 90+ years, or have much value. Many can be bought by the sheet for less than face value). Also… -
