Unsolicited feedback on recent board transaction
Was debating putting this here or in the PM forum. Anyways..... Many know me here. Been here for 20+ years now. Have had small, and large, interactions for buying and selling here. Have met, in person, many members and dealers here. I've been here to see good deals and to see scammers. Some scammers were new people, some… -
Another Keyword Spammer Trying to swindle on PCGS' Name
From the auction Linked here. This is the text...what a slime ball. These are 2003-S Silver State quarters. They have been graded PR70DCAM by PCI. I say "PCGS grade" because these coins have NOT, I repeat NOT, been circulated. These coins will have value around $8000(combined) once PCGS gets their hands on a few of these.… -
Re: 1955 Topps Roberto Clemente PSA 8; Fraud To The Nth Degree!!
<< <i>"There isn't too much ANYONE is going to do to stop the scammers." //////////////////////////////////////////////// Security-Grade flips would help. Mag-Tape and a metalic HoloGram would be a good step. Just because it is difficult to make a process secure, is not a good reason to avoid the effort. Under the current… -
Re: Is this really ebay's recommendation?
fact: there are as many buyers who are scam artists as there as sellers who are scammers. just read these boards.as a buyer i always leave feedback when i recieve what i bought. i do not see any point in leaving a buyer immediate feedback for paying for an item he purchased. if you do,then you are set up for the buyer… -

Re: Be careful out there!
Hometown what's your point anyhow? To me it seems you have zero issue with trimming and color touches because you feel it cant be detected. If so then you are wrong it can but no one wants to invest in it. In terms of color touches most can be detected simply with correct light. Cheap and fast yet apparently nevet done.… -
Re: where on Earth is she getting all these Pre Hobby Protection Act counterfeit coins from?

What I find interesting is how the scammers are more protected that honest decent people. It's sort of a criminal has all the rights and a law abiding citizen has none. They can pretty much do anything they want and nothing will really happen to them. The law enforcement people are only interested in things in their local… -
Re: eBay fake PSA slab scam story
<< <i>I guess I have to ask--forgive my ignorance, but just for my future reference: I understand how the scammer is using other Ebay sellers as strawpeople to scam buyers, but exactly what is the scam? Is the idea that he will collect the $6,000 cash from Paypal before the buyer disputes the transaction, leaving Paypal to… -
Re: Is there a new circle of trust?
<< <i>Isn't this whole forum practically a circle of trust? I've never been to another forum where the majority of members are comfortable sending PayPal money or items in trade to unknown persons on the other side. >> While this is mostly true, there have been a number of scammers or would be scammers on BST. Some of the…
