I start most items at $1, except for coins that don't have a very big following (eg., seated dimes). If I feel nervous about it, I sometimes start at $1 and use a reserve, which brings up another question: Is it better to start a coin at $1 with a reserve, or at your minimum acceptable sell price without a reserve? -

Thanks I was thinking au too. It wasn't a trick question but I submitted it raw along with a 1900 $10. The 1835 $2 1/2 came back in a genuine holder 98 damaged or tooled. I can't see any damage apart from a couple of small scratches above the eagles eyes. Is that considered damage on such an early coin? I don't think it's… -
