Question for Ike Experts about 1976 Type 1 and Type 2
I have noticed several eBay aucitons of PCGS and NGC graded 1976 Type 1 and Type 2 Ike Dollars where only the obverse of the coin is shown. The coins are usually designated on the holder as type 1 or type 2, but it has been mentioned on this forum before that sometimes the coins type is misidentifed by the grading service.… -

Possible 1943/2 War nickel? Opinions? Found in $40 of silver.
I am not convinced that this is a 1943/2 War nickle, as I have had several, but this coin made me look harder at it. There is an extra bit on the bottom tip of the 3 and what appears to be line or the bottom of a 2. Also behind the 3 is what appears to be the top of a 2. I am not saying its an overdate, as it looks weak…
