IMO, the OP coin has been gently cleaned. An awful lot of the coins that look PQ to collectors’ eyes have been silently net graded for something that the TPG recognizes but the collectors do not. (View Post)2 -

How about the Norweb 1893-S? It has been in various NGC and PCGS high grade holders and I’m pretty certain that JA would assign this exact same grade …because it deserves it. (View Post)1 -
