1866 H10c = half dime 1866 5c = Shield Nickel There would be confusion on all 5 cent coins between 1866-1873 without the distinction of H10c vs. 5c. (View Post)3 -

Must be a bad photo. I bet the lighting was just too bright when the photo was taken. I can't imagine getting CAC approval on a coin that looks that way in-hand. (View Post)1
