That is the first year his name appears as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on a Topps card, but he has 3 previous Topps cards (1969, 1970 & 1971) that were issued as Lew Alcindor.2 -

You can tell it's the vintage variation because of the vintage topps logo on the front.1
