If it was struck on a dollar planchet, it would be the size of a dollar, not the size of a cent. It's not unusual for a copper plated cent to have a brassy color. (View Post)5 -

Nice, but normal, coins. Be careful of falling down the rabbit hole of looking for errors with a scope. You'll find tiny meaningless anomalies on pretty much every coin. I'd try to pick out the best … (View Post)2 -

No reason for there to be damage elsewhere, when the curved edge of a coin hits and causes damage only 2 or 3 reeds hit at a time. Can you explain what press damage is? Never heard that one. (View Post)1
