It is most likely a foreign coin or token that predates the US Mint but it would be interesting to see both what the oldest US coin that is full red and the oldest world coin that is full red. (View Post)

Crazt glue is also used to attach a mintmark but a drop of acetone will quickly cause the mintmark to fall off. (View Post)
