I can see the cut across the eagle's throat, but it doesn't appear too bad. The S-mint WQs from 1947-1954 have some of the most wild luster I have ever seen. They can be amazing. (View Post)1 -

Be aware that coins dropped into Lucite can appear far nicer while entombed than they are when broken out. I would guess that might be due to the acrylic filling in any nooks and crannies on the coin… (View Post)2 -
