The Dahlonega mint closed in 1861 and the Denver mint opened in 1906 which was 45 years later. Closing one didn't have anything to do with opening the other. (View Post)3 -
Re: The 1928P is valued more than MV. I grade it XF40.
It's always a good idea to check the mintmark area on a 1928 Peace Dollar since there have been cases where people have taken the less expensive 1928-S and removed the mintmark. (View Post)2 -
