Blitzdude is the only one that calls silver "gutter metal". Now that it's over $50, he should stop that nonsense. It makes him sound ignorant. (View Post)4 -
Re: A Major Refiner/Wholesaler Temporarily Pausing the Purchase of Alloyed Silver (.925, 90%, 40%, etc.)
Why not identify this "major refiner/wholesaler"? Is it some kind of secret? (View Post)3 -
Re: Old NGC slabbed coin, undergraded by more than 60 points and I can't WAIT to remove the sticker!
That sticker actually makes an otherwise boring slab a lot more interesting. As others have pointed out, that sticker actually makes it more desirable to many slab collectors. (View Post)7 -
Re: To grade or not to grade
These are essentially bullion coins. Not worth the expense to get them slabbed. (View Post)2 -
Re: Has anyone tried "conservation" via window sun exposure?
Older US gold coins can tone since they are alloyed with 10% copper. I can see it being possible for a gold coin to get a little toning if it were in direct sunlight for a long enough period of time. (View Post)2
