Always prospecting for new higher-grade additions to my National Commemorative Medals of the US Mint set which has some very low population medals. These were all approved by Congress, signed by the President and are official US commemorative medals. These contain a vast variety of designs and finishes and are not well known or collected.

This US gold medal for the Bicentennial is more than one regular pound and 3-inches in diameter. May not be the biggest in a slab, but it is pretty heavy and worth more than $50,000 melt. (View Post)2
