Environmentally damaged surfaces – not an error, or struck on an unplanted zinc planchet Corrosion – the coin might have been buried in dirt for awhile (View Post)4 -

Sorry, but it’s damaged,and not a mint error. Another coin was pressed into it – that’s why you see the letters, etc. incused(backwards) (View Post)2
