If they do end it at 1,939 that’d be kind of an interesting mintage too though. That’s when the war started. So you'd have a start date mintage on a coin celebrating the end of the war. (View Post)5 -

I believe these may not be subject to the same rules as other commemoratives since a law didn’t create these designs. The laws for each of the commemoratives usually include the language that they ma… (View Post)1 -

But wasn’t the hype created by the quantity? If this had a mintage limit of 15,000, or unlimited, I’m sure they would have sold a lot but the discussion and lead up to it would have been pretty quiet. (View Post)2
