I've heard tinfoil prevents the scanners from scanning the NFC chip. I've never personally tested that out but I wrap all slabbed coins in the aluminum foil just as a precaution. (View Post)

For the darker circulated stuff Gerry's pics are very accurate. When the coins have color and luster some of the problems arise with "sunlight photography". (View Post)

Maybe the coin was previously cracked out of said ANACS slab and the person just put it in a generic slab and printed a label with all of the info from the cracked slab. (View Post)
