It’s not that serious, lots of dealers did it that way in the 80-90s to prevent the boiled date effect. Speak more with your wallet and less with emotion, it’s just coins buddy. (View Post)1 -

I think the top ones base grade is higher than coin two due to strike. Peace dollars always seemed to me to be graded on luster then strike and then contact marks (View Post)2 -

the early Ebay era was a gold rush of classic B&M liquidation. The number of Raw treasures was huge and prices still modest. (View Post)3
