1812 Bust half dollar… Is this a generous grade or really just a mechanical error?
I put this at VF25, at best. The grade is so far off that it makes me think this could be a mechanical error. Am I missing something? PS: I do not own this coin; it recently sold on eBay. (View Post)1 -

That price isn't too surprising. Why do you believe it "makes no sense at all" that it sold for $19.2k? CDN bid in AU50 is $22,800, and that coin appears to have AU+ detail. (View Post)2
