Taking into account the large price increases at the Mint as of late, I'd imagine it's a cash grab type situation. They see secondary market prices and want a bigger slice of the retail pie. (View Post)1 -

Your "subscription" shipped. i.e., you are successfully signed up for the subscription action. The coin, the subject of the subscription, is a different product from the subscription itself. (View Post)2
