  Hi Mike,
  Eric here. Quick question as this is much more your area I would imagine:

  If two planchets are in the striking chamber and then struck by the dies, are the mim upsets on the "blank" sides of the planchets that face each other preserved after strike.
  I ask the question as I have a coin that has been designated as such but am not sure that it was just on obverse die used to strike a "pattern" - maybe Kingsport.
