    I cannot see it clearly, but I'm looking for an open split bud on the lower bud. Most 1877s have a closed bud and strong vein on the second lowest leaf. If the bud is open split, then you have either one of two rare die marriages - an 1877 with a Type 1 reverse, or an 1877 transitional (parts of Type 1 and Type 2 reverses). Wiley and Bugert discuss these DMs in their 1993 book on Seated halves.
