1910 edward vii canada 5 cent with bullet hole

This coin was in my fathers things found after he passed. I have no history on the coin. It is to go to my grandson and I would like to know if there is value in it. The hole looks about the size of a 22 bullet.

    Just a damaged 10 cent coin worth it ‘s value in what silver is left.
    Doesn’t matter what caused the hole, it is still damage.

    Thanks Greenstang. Not the answer I was hoping for though, as I wanted it to be worth at least a semester of college for my grandson because of the lovely patina. Although the answer you gave was what I expected with the research I have done. This experience has also sparked my interest in coins. On to my coin jars to look for that big money coin.
