You can only buy Bullion with ebay bucks. No coins.
Really, when did this change? It has been awhile but I have used ebucks for coin purchases in the past.

Isn't it the other way around? Coins but no bullion because bullion has a lower fee structure.

You can definitely spend them on coins. You just can’t earn eBay Bucks buying bullion.
