What is your most significant numismatic goal that you've accomplished.

I reached my goal this year on the size of my long term hold silver bullion American eagle hoard.

Numismatic goal? Trying to be 100% honest, and trying to hold the disingenuous dealers accountable. Buying uncertified material can be a tough exercise as many business people play by their own rules.

Nailing images with my $250 D3100 and $200 Nikon 105mm lens. Can't wait to image that Pd. Eagle.

Finished my Walker one per date set (1916-1947) in grades MS 64 to MS 67. I used a mix of NGC and PCGS coins.

Also finished my certified Walker intermediate set (1934-1947) in grades MS 65 to 67 and certified Walker short set (1941-1947) in grades MS 65 to 67.

Learning to sell some along the way, both for the learning process and for the money, and becoming a better purchaser because of it.

Completed a mint state Peace Dollar 24 coin set.

Finally finishing my Barber quarter collection, with a PCGS -03 1901 S.

Not counting the hole filler in the album of the world's worse 01s fake, the date was re-engraved.

But, never finishing my 'hoards' of Barbers, is my most significant failure.
But then, it'll never be done

My goal is to stick to finish my dansco type set gold page, then finish the rest of the set. Still need both double eagles, eagles, and the Indian half eagle...collecting is hard when you don’t make your own money

Cherrypicking both 1878 VAM-44 and 1878 VAM-123.

I inherited my father's collections of Indian cents in an album that was incomplete. He had the 1909-S and the 1908-S but was missing the earlier dates....about 80% complete. All of the coins that he collected were what he found in circulation. I have decided to leave his collection intact.

Instead I assembled a collection of Indian Head Proof coins that I will dedicate to his memory. I completed this collection (Paha Sapa Indian Proofs) about one year ago, and I hope that from Heaven he will be as amazed asI am. IHC's were his only collection. He was just a guy that collected pennies out of his pocket. My father was born in 1902, when IHC's were in everyone's pockets.

It seems that several of us have assembled Dahlonega 9-Piece type sets. That is also one of my collections that took 10 years to complete. I guess than makes it even harder for someone else to complete a set in AU.

For me it was completing circ. and proof strike sets of two cent pieces in 64 grade. Next up is Michigan town/City Store Card set.

Building the most attractive buffalo nickel collection I can. Still in process. I’m not sure it’ll ever be done but this year I did land some really nice Buffs. I’m constantly adding to it. Not even selling the doubles for the most part. It’s a great hobby.
This year I also purchased a new Nikon D750 camera that I enjoy quite a bit. A hobby within a hobby. It was a good year for coins.

The ability to continue in the search for what I like

Completing a date-set of Charlotte Half Eagles, sans the 1842-C Small Date. I just couldn't rationalize paying $10K+ VF or $17K+ XF for an over-hyped and otherwise more available than its price justifies coin, no matter its origins and the urge to fully complete the set. I ended up selling @ half of that collection to help finance the growth of my early HE collection (which presents many challenges in itself). I'm slowly rebuilding the Charlotte set, focusing on strict originality and eye appeal - something that's also been slow in the making, due to the unfortunate prevalence of coin doctoring and "enhancement" efforts.

Nothing too specific but if I had to state something, it would be just getting back into the hobby after being completely out for over a decade.
Oh and picking up one coin I wanted back then, my avatar, a 1917 type 1 quarter.

I've mostly collected gold coins to "diversify" my retirements and having fun doing it. I have yet to learn more; to know what goal would it be. LOVE YOU ALL HERE though........
