My latest purchase

Many will think I'm crazy to buy this coin. I really can't disagree with them. The coin definitely has the look on a pocket piece. I wonder how long it was in someone's pocket. CuNi coins don't wear as much as silver coins.

After your recent questions I had a feeling one of these was going to get posted. Pretty neat image. So, is the circulated Churchill in a slab yours too? I'd like to see that one. The Churchill has character too, but with a low relief it would be interesting to see how it looks in a circulated and/or pocket piece state.

    Yes. You're crazy. image

But in a fun way. image

And I have to admit that looks cool in that grade. Not something you see every day, for sure.

I'm picturing some English guy who looks like Wallace from the Wallace and Gromit cartoons carrying that in his pocket.

    Wallace, schmallace.

    Wrong Britcom character.

I know whose pocket that came from, and he wants it back.

It looks like it has been polished vertically.
