Saw this one Ebay. Scarce commemorative Ducat issue from the Bishopric of Trient (cataloged under Italian States), which later became part of the Holy Roman Empire, under province of Salzburg.

1776 Italian States. Diocese of Trent or Trient (German). Engraved by F. Mazenkopf. Ducat issued for the election of Peter Michael Vigil von Thun und Hohenstein (1776 - 1800) as Bishop. 22mm. Morosini 1541. CNI VI 224.2. Obv: Robed bust to right. Rev: Crowned and mantled oval shield of arms in baroque frame, date at end of legend. Rare. NGC MS-63.

The Bishopric of Trent is a former ecclesiastical principality roughly corresponding to the present-day Northern Italian province of Trentino. It was created in 1027 and existed until 1802, when it was secularised and absorbed into the County of Tyrol held by the House of Habsburg. Trent was a so-called Hochstift, an Imperial State under the authority of a prince-bishop at Trento. As a bishopric, the bishop's temporal possession also constituted a state of the Holy Roman Empire. At some point, it was added to the province of Salzburg.
