1939-J Deutsches Reich 1 Reichspfennig Partial Brockage Mint Error
The German Mints have always had very strict control, which makes finding major errors quite a chore for collectors.
It was heightened even more during the Third Reich era, making the error seen below a unique rarity.

First one I've seen on a Third Reich coin, actually.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Very nice!
HoledandCreative, Thanks!
Oh, yes. Most definitely a great error.

lordmarcovan, Thanks!
Yes it's the first brockage I've ever seen on a Third Reich era coin too.
I'm guessing it only escaped the mint as the obverse was not seen.

Terrific coin- I only have one German error which resides in an NGC holder. It was one of those coins I bought mainly because never thought I would see another- It is a broadstruck 1906 or 7 (off hand I can remember the exact date) Prussian 5 Mark coin.
coinkat, Thanks!
It was smart to grab it as on the 2,3, & 5 Mark silver issues even a partial collar error is very rare.
I'd love to see your B/S 5 Mark
An amazing coin. The first 3rd Reich mint error I have ever seen.
Jackthecat1, Thanks!
