Canadian cents

in Precious Metals
couple of years ago,Canada stopped making cents.Now,neither US nor Canadian banks will accept them.Does that mean that Canadian cents can now be melted?

    Make cents to me.



    I'd like to hear some stories of individuals melting them and whether it was worth it or not.

    I have a Canadian customer who comes here once a year for all of my CA cents that come in.
    I have about 7500 set aside for him for next year already.

    *they sell for more than the melt value, if you can get quantity of them together.

    Same and they only stopped producing cents in 2013. I'd still think that they are legal tender....





    Chumley- If you are living in the US, I wouldn't be worried about Trudeau looking for you if you decide to experiment. image
