I was chatting with Mike Faraone at the ANA summer seminar and asked him why, when I send in a bulk dollar order to our hosts, I never get my tubes back, even though I request them in big letters on the form. He said that they should send them back, since they otherwise just accumulate there until they throw them out. He also said he could have some sent to me that were about to be tossed.
A few weeks later, my wife texts me about a package FedEx dropped off that was big and made a lot of noise. I couldn't figure out what I had ordered that matched that description, but it made sense when I got home and opened it.
The box is about a foot deep. I haven't counted, but there are probably several hundred dollar tubes in there -- however many weigh 18 pounds. Looks like I'm set for a while. Thanks, Mike!

PS.
Last two orders that came in this week still came in Blue PCGS Boxes!
They haven't ran out yet!
I just weighed an empty one, .88 oz.

I'm sure they could sell them to many of us....modest price of course.

The problem is that it costs more to ship them than they're worth unless you are shipping a lot of them. Maybe they could haul them to ANA or LB shows and give them away. Seems a waste just to throw them out. Of course, the supply guy selling new ones for 50c each wouldn't be too pleased.
