Going to POGUE Auction May24th NYC.

bidaskbidask Posts: 13,860 ✭✭✭✭✭
I will be in NYC on May 24th and will be attending the historic POGUE IV auction.

I have arranged to view lots beforehand. I am ready to witness some of the greatest coins ever offered.

I can hardly wait....will be at Sotheby's the whole afternoon and evening.

Oh, the checkbook.....it's not mine....its my 13 year old son.

He wants me to get him a NYC souvenir of some sort . I told him whatever he is willing to spend I will match.
I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

No need to sell anything. With the 50% subsidy, I'll be happy to back his action.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I'll probably be there as well. I'll be at lot viewing too, but not sure what day/time yet.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
