Time to Start a CU Boards HOF??--

think about it--we have had some great members here. And Infamous members!! Maybe getting them elected to a CU Boards HOF will entice them to come back.

This idea would have to be thought out. We would have to have certain criteria established--for instance, can someone be nominated and elected based upon 1 thread they started, or continued membership, or providing valuable info to our community. Heck maybe even an Alt may be eligible who may have inspired some fun threads.

-so not everyone is elected at the same time. .. Maybe do it 2-3-4 times/year? Anyone else think this might be fun??

we sure could have some fun debating the merits of election that's for sure. Just think of the people that have come and gone in the past 10 years! Gary--Felicia--Muggyman----I mean there's a ton to have fun with

we can elect the good, the bad, and the ugly!!

Sounds like a great idea. Could have a hof for great/memorable members . And maybe a hof for memorable threads. I would nominate the frank thomas nnof thread started by bunchofbull as the greatest thread of all time.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Great idea. Maybe CU could put a Hall of Fame title under the user name of those inducted. Or we could come up with something in a sig line that designates HOF status. I think the coin forum had that at one time.

Lol thanks. Itzagoner was awesome, especially the one-liners during the real serious threads that escalated quickly.

CD'snuts was awesome too...to the point, pulled no punches, and wasn't afraid to tell it like it was.

Whomever played Maurice here was genius too...loved reading that guys posts. Informational and to the point as well...It's all a learning experience regardless of personality.

I think a mention of snuffy is warranted too...the photoshop master.

I would love to see this. It would potentially bring some great board members who have stopped posting. I have been posting here around 3 years and it seems like this board was more active and informative prior to joining based on what other members have stated in previous posts.

I like gumbyfan(craig) for the hall.
Who else would try to get a baseball card a meeting with the commisioner of baseball.

And one time when he ran a group sub he was very complimentary about the cards I sent, made
me feel good about my chances of getting high grades.

nikklos - Isuro "Kamikazi" Tanaka would say that Nikklos has the board's biggest marbles. My gut tells me that CPAMike cringes at every new thread.
mojorob - unfortunately, unless he was quoted, most of his photos are gone. The most visually stunning threads I have ever seen. They were like being in a time machine.
