1982-83 Wrestling All Stars Complete Set Digital Album and Scans...

So far the the voting is tied in the race for the award for the best digital album. There are some great sets in the contest for sure. I like the other collectors would like to win.

The Wrestling All Stars is made up of three 36 card sets and totals 108 different performers from wrestling's past. You will find a whose who of the top stars to ever step foot in the squared circle.

There are a total of 66 PSA 10's in my complete set.

1982 Series A 23

1982 Series B 16

1983 27

93 out of 108 cards are in their top grade.

It sure sounded like you this morning when I got a call from Florida asking for my vote for the wrestling all star digital album. I kept saying David, Dave, DP, and even resorted to Dpeck. The guy on the phone just blew by my questioning demanding my vote. It sounded just like you, was that you? Do you have a twin?

They were issued in factory set form in a cellophane pack and were mail order through the Wrestling News and their various regional programs.

Here is what some of the order forms looked like.

No I don't but that is a good idea. Especially the Hogan one.

It looks like The Murph has got Hogan on the mat. Time for Hulkamania to Hulk up and drop the big leg on the 6'4 210 pip squeak from Portland.

If that doesn't work maybe Andre can run in and give him a big splash for the win!

+1 on the Hulk...Do you remember the kid named Bagwell? He went to a different HS than mine, but I would watch him. But my best was probably Sting. Once in a while, I will turnto watch wrestling, the leprechaun guy is good.

For the sheer amount of scans for these 108 cards you deserve the win. Good luck, as it is coming down to the wire.

You are probably referring to Marcus Alexander Bagwell or in later years Buff Bagwell. If so he is still around and is said to be a male escort. He has had a lot of drug problems stemming from recreational use and then he was in a severe car accident and things got worse.

He does have a good card which is a signed one in the very popular 1998/99 WCW set.

Great album! What scanner did you use to scan those? Your back scans are a lot clearer than mine.

OMG OMG. This is turning into an all at war!!! Just when Hogan thought he had Murphy under control here comes Ty Cobb running into the ring and he is wearing his spikes!!

Cobb is trying to stomp a mud hole in Hogan and just spit a huge wad of tobacco in his face!!! Hogan is realing and signals to the back for help.

Brody. OMG its Brody!!! And the wild man is running to the ring swinging his chain!!!

Ty Cobb's friends just jumped into the ring and its pandemonium... Babe Ruth just gave Andre The Giant a crushing pile driver, the ghoulish ghost of Honus Wagner is slamming Junkyard into the turnbuckle repeatedly, while its none other than the cryogenically frozen Ted Williams squaring off with sex-video man Hogan.

Your wrestling set is very nicely displayed. The Retirado set has blood on its hands from acquisition (it's not uncommon for people to be held up at gunpoint for cards in Venezuela in targeted robberies).

I'd love the exposure for my Venezuela Topps cards, they are unbelievably unique and beyond rare. So, please, if you have not yet voted, go view the nominated sets and vote for your favorite! Thanks!

I finally had time to look over the nominees. Four sets in there I had never heard of before. Great stuff.
