New personal record for poppage for me

I have an August special that was logged into the system 9/9 and still no poppage. That's a personal record for me. Anyone still waiting on August submissions or am I just the lucky one?

    +1

55 days is estimate~many times subs will pop well before that, but that is a bonus.

I would say that you are right, you are a very lucky one. If your longest wait is about 60 calendar days, you are only sitting at about 50% of the wait time it can often take for a lot of orders out there. Sounds like your orders, including this one, have been among the fastest to pop.

Man you are getting dinged hard on the 1989 topps. I opened about 5 or so boxes and had a few graded. I received many 9's on lemieux and grezky and sakic. In fact i was the one that sold the 1989 Lemieux psa 10 a few months ago. I did combine these cards with many other makes and models when I submitted.
Work hard and you will succeed!!

Getting hit hard! There were some big cards in this group sub so maybe that had something to do with it? These Gretzky and Lemieuxs are perfect. Best I've pulled out of about 100 boxes. If they got 9s I'd be like, aight, but 8s are pretty harsh on these IMO.

And congrats on that Lemieux PSA 10! I remember seeing that and felt the price was very fair.

I've been out of the country for almost 3 weeks and hadn't checked in this site or w/ PSA during that time. I still have 3 pending orders subbed on December special, logged in early January, not completed yet. Did PSA take a vacation during that time too? I was very surprised to come home today and not find any results on these yet! Kind of wondering if anyone else is seeing similar wait time on their December orders, considering it is now May.

December order 4 months later? Have you called them like 100 times yet? They obviously misplaced it. Unless there is a new 100 business day special.

Checked with them before I left, and then I was gone for almost 3 weeks. I was hoping they would have done something with them over that time. I do plan to call today though.

Left a message with a problem order specialist there. Will see if that helps speed things along. I shouldn't have to call though. I'm pretty patient with 90 calendar days (as opposed to business days) but after 90, I start getting anxious to see some results. Every time my orders approach the 120-day mark it gets frustrating. Before I left, I had an order that logged on 12/22 still pending. I contacted them about that one on 4/13 and it subsequently popped by 4/15, but who knows how long it would have taken without me checking with them. I felt like after that duration, they may have cut me a break and bumped an order or two a little ahead in line to make up for it, but apparently not since these other ones logged between 1/6 & 1/11 seem to be taking longer, not shorter.

Yeah, seems to be taking abnormally long right now. The last half of last year, and even early this year, my subs were popping pretty quick. By pretty quick, I mean, I know to put subs together by sport, era, etc. to hopefully get quicker results. Even the past 45 and/or 50 business day subs, I was getting results in 3-4 weeks. I currently have 6 subs in awaiting results. The oldest is on business day 49 today... still nothing. 2 are on business day 42, nothing! There is no good explanation for it, but it seems that vintage gets preference... maybe it's just the staff they have now (or lack there of). All I know is that the 2 subs that are on BD42, that was a 3 sub order. 1 vintage and 2 modern, subbed after a "modern" sub that is on BD49 right now... The vintage sub popped and shipped in 8 days (calendar, not business)... still waiting on all the others.

So much for their video about the orders go into a queue based on service level... it's all clearly BS, as the graders are cherry picking what they want to grade from that queue. Absolutely no legitimate excuse why an order of identical service level should pop before one received week(s) before it!

Having been here, and using their services, for many years now... PSA service is cyclical just like the stock market! You go through periods of great service and fair & fast handling of orders... and then you hit a period of crap service and things that shouldn't take long... taking FOREVER!!! We appear to be trapped in the latter period lately image

My subs all over the place.

Logged. In 3/3 still waiting. (62 cards - 50 day special)
    Logged in 3/30 popped 4/25. (40 cards - 50 day special)
Logged in 4/26 popped 5/2 (20 cards- 30 day special)

I have a 4th sub of about 35-40 cards that was received 5/2 and yet to be logged as well.

I think some of it has to do with if a card has been graded before as well. I have a few cards on the first one I subbed for a friend and he had me grade some basketball stuff that was not on their online submission form
    Looking for FB HOF Rookies

Received apology and confirmation that they will work to complete these orders over the next few days. Can't help but wonder how many business or calendar days they'd have been waiting without contact.

I feel the same way. Two subs ago, 11 of 107 cards came back with the word "Collector" spelled without the second "c".

Latest sub was six business days past expected date of completion so I sent an email asking if they knew how much longer it would be. Two days later the grades popped. Five days later I had the cards in my hand. Two weeks after the email I got an email back telling me the order had been completed.

    Thanks.
