Man, where do you live that you can get $1000 bags of halves? My credit union stopped allowing me to order $500 boxes because somebody else was ordering them, searching, then bringing them back. I'd leave them, but I've been there for over 25 years and have my HELOC with them among other things...

Well, if it is just from this batch, it's already guessed at it would be a walker and all years have been taken. If it's a larger question, then I will guess 1899

I'm envious, I got another $500 box a couple of weeks ago and found ZERO silver halves. Out of the last $3000 in halves I think I've gotten 5 40% silver. For awhile I was finding more silver in war nickels than halves...well I guess that is still true.

For the OP and other half roll searchers. How do you get the rolls in such huge quantities? Do you order from banks?
1902.
