Almost OT, but new movie with coins in it...

Was watching '2012' (I thought a cool movie), then, without switching the channel, 'Dear John' comes on. Beginning of the movie, the star, Channing Tatum...a soldier....states he's a 'made coin' (as he's a soldier), and they show the different stages of coining...even goes so far as showing an off-center nickel. A few minutes later, he brings his new gal to meet dad (Richard Jenkins, from 'Step Brothers, and a few Farrelly Bros movies). His office is a coin collectors office.....Whitmans strewn about. The girl grabs a coin (bare hands) and asks 'whats this?'....his answer....a Sacagewa mule. He then pulls out a William Jennings Bryan dollar...explains the whole deal about it, pulls out a 1901 Morgan to compare it to. The look on his face when she handles the sac mule with bare hands....typical collector (Jenkins is wearing white cotton gloves throughout the scene.....hands her gloves if she wants to see more). Then pulls out trays....'this one is matched by color'......movie is a love story (NOT something I'd watch, but from the opening credits, they go from blank planchets, to finished coins, to the off-center Jeff, to his dad's collection), but not sure if coin collecting has any more to do with the movie, but it was pretty cool.....will have to record it, fast forward it to see if there are any more referrences to coins...but it was rather cool. Nice to see him wearing gloves, insisting she wears gloves if she'd like to see more....

DON'T give me a hard time about the movie itself! Just thought most would find it interesting...threads about movies with coins in them have been discussed, but I thought the 1st 20 mins was pretty cool.
I'll come up with something.
