So I had a guy win an auction on ebay for $2.25 w free shipping......

The auction was for (6) BU Puerto Rico error (struck thru) Quarters.....($1.50) then I paid postage of $1.58 + paypal + ebay fees + the packaging and the Lady who works for me......you can probably see where this is going......

I just crossed it off as win some lose some......until today!!!!!!....I have 5014 feedbacks with (1) retaliatory Neg and my DSR's are all 5.0........

This gentlemen ( delrey029 ) just gave me a Neutral (bad) Feedback...........from what I can see he thinks I overcharged him on shipping.........free must be too high!imageLINK

edited to correct buyer ID.....

It doesn't "sound" like English is his first language. It may be possible that he received the package with postage due, I suppose. Odd.

I once received a package with postage due. The postage due was 44 cents, and then their was a $4.00 processing fee. The item was a $10.00 win off eBay. NEedless to say, I was quite ticked. Not saying this is the case here, but since it was brought up, I thought I would share.

Possibly confusion with your order and someone else's? It looks like it is the first time he left anything other than a postitive.

  • Have you written him to ask what the problem is? I agree it may just be a mix up and the feedback fixed.

    Yes.....no reply yet.
  • What a loser......

I've had those kind of people at CoinSpace who sold items, charged high shipping and sent them with postage due?
Where are this people going with this other than trying to scam others. I mean, I banned him and then he went to
another forum stating I banned him for no reason and went ahead saying I was selling AT coins...... (That was funny)

The good thing was that many people have bought from me and all (as always) were very happy with their purchases,
and came to my rescue, telling him he was simply full of it and we never heard of him again. I believe his name is Jessie
and has a brother with the same mentality named Clay.

I believe Ebay has a policy for removal of bad feedback that is unwarranted. Clearly "zero shipping being too high" is unwarranted.

You should immediately file with eBay to have it removed. 99.9 is definitely not 100 and I know some people won't order from a non 100 since 100 is fairly common.

A friend of mine once sold something on Ebay to a rookie buyer, who left a neutral thinking that you would leave a positive only if they seller gave you extra stuff...

These kinds of stories make me glad I don't sell anything on the bay!

"The seller increse the shipping, after the sales. I decline my baying."

"I decline my baying." What the hell is that?

    "Exelent products,exactly what i specting.Fast shipping"
    "comertial products, loocs good"
    "exelent products, exelent prise"
"exelent products, fast shipping, good condition" (He's probably kicking himself for mispelling condishun!)

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

It has been my experience that the lower end auctions result in about 90% of the customer complaint issues I've ever had in my 10 years+ on EBAY. I've concluded it's not worth it. With very rare exceptions, I don't list low value stuff on EBAY anymore. I think if you make the business decision to sell this kind of stuff, you have to be prepared to deal with the occasional 'wingnut'.

I'd file a claim with eBay. This is an obvious mistake from this idiot (blocked).

I suspect that there was postage due on your package. If your package is less than 3/4" thick, it does not qualifies for the package rate with the delivery confirmation. The Post Office will then charge the recipient the Priority mail rate.

Even if so, the buyer's a tool for not contacting the seller and giving the seller a chance to make it right before slamming them in feedback.

That is mis-information. THey changed it to 1/4" and it is really meant as an upcharge for 1/4" packages. They are fine if you want to pay more. I suspect you were the victim of a maliciously compliant postal worker at one time. --Jerry

    Now for a constructive comment.

I put a receipt in every package I ship out. On the top, it is a PayPal receipt, on the bottom half of the page, I have a statement about feedback and my commitment to making sure they have an excellent buying experience. As part of that, I ask that if there is any problem at all, please contact me first prior to leaving any feedback, so I can address it and correct if necessary.
