Trying to teach my daughter what cleaned coins look like

Can anyone post close up pictures of what a cleaned or doctored coin looks like (hairlines, whizzing, ex.) I've been trying to explain it to my daughter without luck. Maybe pictures will help.

    Do a thread search with "cleaned" as the key word....you should get some hit....and some pics....

    Tried that before I posted. I found 1 thread but it was so old that the pictures were unavailable. If anyone has real close-up shots I would greatly appreciate it.

    Take some new coins from your pocket change and let your daughter clean them using various means. Let her study them before and after the various cleanings. They'll be your best example of what cleaned coins look like.

    I bought this $20 Lib before I knew what whizzed meant Tom.

    Those lines were NOT as evident to the naked eye (mine). A 5x loupe brought them out as did the point and shoot camera image.

    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Take a coin out of your change, clean it and show it to her image
