POST a BOONE Commerative in Memory of Fess Parker
No doubt I am not alone in mourning the loss of one of our childhood heroes, actor Fess Parker who entered into the great beyond yesterday. Growing up in the sixties...."Daniel Boone" was a favorite TV show, and Fess portrayed the great man with a tender yet strong impression that no doubt will be with many of us forever.
Daniel Boone was a Man, just a Big Man. and indeed, Fess stood a towering Six foot Six, in fact too tall to be a pilot in WW2!. From a varied acting career begun in the 1950's he went on to become a successful businessman and Vintner. Those of us impressionable young fellows who followed the TV show will always remember him.
God Rest Your Soul, Fess Parker

So you could post a Texas, too. And looking at imdb.com, he also played in a 1956 movie called "Westward Ho the Wagons!", so add an Oregon while you're at it.
