Another Roosevelt "S" in torch?

  If it's there it's not nearly as prominent as the first example.

  I'm going to be contrarian and say I don't think either of these are actually an "S" in the torch.
  
  Does it look somewhat "S"like? Yes, but I've seen a lot of weird things with digital photo artifacts.
  
  Someone is going to need to get one or more of those to Fred W (or someone similar in expertise) to convince me.

  Gonzer, I agree...not nearly as prominent, but looking at it, it seems the serif and everything is there....
  
  Lanlord, that's ok. I wouldn't mind if Fred wanted to see them, but on the other side, I am just collecting for fun and doing the same with the pics. It is ok for those that see them and it is ok for those that don't believe it either

  I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  I think its just detail from the torch combined with the black stuff. JMO
