No. A day like today (most) everyone is off of work and there are only two games on TV. It is simple to sneak away here and there and snipe away.image

Lots of people off work, some bored. Some with no thanksgiving plans...there will probably be scattered success.
  • Only if people are stupid enough to end items today

I'm just looking at my bookmarks and I'm surprised at the number of things that do end today. I haven't bid by hand in years, if I see something I put in a snipe bid, maybe check on it, sometimes change or delete the bid, but I am seldom there when it closes. I know some of you guys like to bid by hand, not for me!

Nothing on my watch list that ends today.

A lot of people are out of town so it's probably pretty good if you can find what you want. I looked around and didn't find anything worth sniping.

I'll watch for the mid night sessions since most of the fools will be camped out waiting for the stores to open at 5 a.m.

I have learned from past holidays that if you list more commons items you tend to do better on holidays. I listed several items I have sold during the past week and today I received 10-30% higher bids. I have to disagree with this our statement you have to be smart and know the market something you apparently do not!

  • I just looked through part of DLawrence's auction ending tonight and saw only one lot with more than 2 bids and that had 3.

    Many had zero.

I would never have an auction ending on Thanksgiving.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

MY statement is only based on getting burned last chirstmas. I didn't think about when i items would end a listed some rare coins that ended on Christmas and they brought only about 60% of what they should have.

LOL! Sorry about missing one, so don't count the Packers/Lions because I'm a Packer fan and it should have turned out just the way it did.
