For those who considered and then said "What could be in Modesto" the location was actually very good. It was held at a very nice meeting center. As far as coins and selection it was a little limited but nice size show.
Same question +/- 1 year later...still no takers. I was going to go, but I think Mac has a "pre ANA" (LOL) planned in Sacramento, so I will wait for that.
A 2 day show in NoCal is something I will start doing soon. Is this a monthly, quarterly show? If a club show then thats even better. As for now, I am eyeing the Santa Clara, but hear it is slowing down bigtime, any advise?
People who go to this show just to buy may find attending worthwhile but anybody else who may be contemplating attending to sell or to just attend will very likely be dissapointed. The show facilities are nice considering that the show is in Modesto and attendance is usually decent but whether the public will be aggressively buying is another matter. After all this is Modesto we're talking about and Modesto isn't exactly the shining jewel of California.
Although nothing is for certain I seriously doubt I'll be in attendance at the show tomorrow.

I have been doing Santa Clara for several years and, though it is slowing, I seem to always have a good show there. I have built up a little following of NoCal people who look for me, so that certainly helps. There are still a couple hundred dealers who attend, and the public on Saturday is usually pretty strong. And it's half the price of Long Beach! But my favorite restaurant of all time, Nicolinos, closed last time, and that was a huge disappointment. But the upside is there are two casinos very close - Bay 101 and Garden City!
