I do know that I wish certain people on the boards here (neither of the 2 above this post) would get the help to buy a clue something

Me too. I am also annoyed at sellers who raise their prices, thus taking advantage of buyers because of this situation.
I can never find anything via the Live Search anymore...just junk....for some reason my original search back at the end of July produced better results...

That's a good one. Like the buyers have a gun to their head. Why shouldn't everyone get some MS money?
haven't done anything this time 'round

That is very funny, I actually had someone e-mail me and said," Why should I give you half of my MS rebate?" It sounds like I am forcing them to buy from me.
Last I heard this is still a capitalist country but it is getting more like a communist country each and very day.

The nice thing about being a buyer is that you don't have to buy if you don't like the price.
Nice avatar by the way.

I don't get statements like this. How does a seller "take advantage" of a buyer when they raise their price IN A FREE MARKET (non-necessity items, buy it now, and with competitors everywhere)?????
No one took advantage of anyone. If the price was raised, and you didn't like it and it wasn't a good deal, move on. Or, is it your god given right to set the prices?
I'm more a buyer than a seller, but when I see comments like the above, I shake my head and wonder why darwinism doesn't always win out.
As for the distrustful part....Adam, that is your right. Some folks appear to have gotten burned. Many of us got paid, however, and it has been a good thing.

So, you got a $500 bill, no longer in circulation but still cool, for under face??? Yowzers! That's awesome!

Yeah, never owned one before and always sort of wanted to have one... would prefer better condition, but for less than face it was a no brainer. Figure I'll keep it awhile, show it off a bit, and then probably spend it on a coin at a coin show sometime (to an appreciating dealer).
Worst case, I could always just take it to the bank and deposit it
