Online Inventory Software

I just took out a policy for my collectibles with an insurance agency, and although a detailed list was no necessary, they suggested I use some sort of system for cataloging roughly what I have.

Has anyone here used any online software for tracking their collection? Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

I think the Beckett website has a "my collection" option that allows you to list what is in your collection. Not sure if its still there after they redesigned their website but its worth a look. Alos not sure if there is a monthly cost involved either.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!
  • I've always relied on an excel spreadsheet to keep my inventory. You can sort it, add columns any time you want, do formulas to figure total values, etc. If you are good with excel, you can create pulldown menus and other stuff. No software program would be anywhere close to as flexible. You can also email and print it out anytime you want.

Beckett still offers the "My Collection" option. You can create your collections for free, but to see the current Beckett values you do need a subscription. The redesigned area for My Collection makes it easier to add cards to my current sets than the previous site.

Blade3 is correct that your own excel spreadsheet does give you more options as to design.

VCP and the PSA Set Registry. That's assuming that by "collectibles" you mean cards.
  • Great idea. My collection is an add on to my home owner's policy.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess Excel spreadsheet may be the way to go. I found this: http://www.itaggit.com/ which is kind of more what I was looking for since my "stuff" isn't just cards or even sports related. I wanted one place where I can store everything including images in case anything happened to my home and I needed to make a claim.
