I need HELP from the forum auction catalog gurus…

My favorites of all my catalogs…anyone care to guess at a value? I know the hardcover Sotheby’s is one of only 500 per the auction house.

Having a hardbound copy of a cancelled sale is something not everyone can acquire. Congrats!

Now, you will need to locate a HB copy of the Chesapeake / S.S. Brother Jonathan catalogue to go with the others.

my goodness that cover is well done. it looks like the coins are really
on top of the cover piling up!!!

I have a copy of the hardbound Phillip Morse Collection of Double eagles sold by heritage in 2005. Its singed by morse, and a few people at heritage. They printed around (i think) 200 copies. How much is that worth?

I have one of the Sotheby's 12/99 hardbounds, signed by the cataloguer (Tripp). I'll guess that the shrinkwrapped ones are not signed by Tripp, but who knows. Anyway, I think it is worth maybe a hundred bucks. Yes, Eureka, I have read my copy

Firstmint: I wasn't aware that there was a HB issue of the Brother Jonathan catalog.

Andy: Nope, I never read it; I didn't want to ruin it. I have a softcover Christies to look at. I knew I must have had smoething unusual or they would have been all over the place.
