Is $13.50 a good price for common date peace dollars in VF

I think it would be OK for original surfaces. I personally wouldn't buy the polished ones for more than 12 right now and I'd try to get them for closer to 10 if possible.

i do not think so. 13.50 to me should buy one troy ounce of fine silver.
a total piece of crap peace should be 10 bucks in my world.

$13.50 is OK but not good for the unpolished coins.

a lot of shops buy those at $8-11 bucks and that is about what they are worth at current silver price.

Considering the premiums that coin silver is bringing, it is a fair number. It isn't a bargain or anything, but fair.
