Which Ebay seller would you rather buy from...?
...the one selling the estate of the oldtime local banker or the one selling the estate of his uncle the longtime corner store owner? How about the seller who is marketing the estate of the local lady who emptied the collections plates at church for the last 50 years? Maybe Ebay has a template somewhere that allows you to pick one of these scenarios for your auction when you list, because there sure are a lot of sellers who use these tired old stories. Did you ever notice that there are a lot of sellers from the Dakotas with 55 gallon barrels full of wheat cents?

Sellers should JUST list the thing, with clear photos and a good description,
and get out of the buyers' way.
you should see how refined the stories get with BIGTIME dealers.
fresh original coins from a mysterious unnamed source. monster
toned coins straight from a bag that sat in a damp basement next
to a water heater for 50 years. you name it! real colorful stories.
ebay cannot hold a candle to dealers that grace us with their presence at major shows.
