* Disproportionately low price * Highest grade one can get at that low price * The "my ebay email doesn't work well, email me at this alternative email" (this is the one that set my buzzer off that it is likely hijacked) * Combine the above with "bidders must contact me or else I will cancel their bids)....ie, contact me at my alternative account so the real person doesn't get notified by using the ebay contact info.
Interesting. You know how you can always click to send a question? That feature is gone on this auction and he wants emails inquiries to a hotmail account. Not good.

It is scum like this that destroy it for the bulk of the good honest people trying to use this medium. I wish we could get Ebay to do something about situations like this.
PEACE! This is the first day of the rest of your life.
Another giveaway to dishonesty/fraud: The text of the body of the auction is images rather than actual text. Anyone who does this is trying to circumvent the restriction on changing the text of an auction after someone has bid. Normally you cannot change the text of an auction after someone bids or buys; you can only append additional comments. By encasing all the terms and conditions in an image, all the seller has to do is either delete the linked image or swap in a new one.
This is also the reason why all shipping & handling and payment terms are supposed to be in the auction rather than on a seller's "About Me" page, since that can be changed at any time.
If I see a seller putting text in images or "See my About Me page for terms and conditions" in their auction, I absolutely will not do business with them, as they are trying to hide something shady.

Not sure why this bother's you so much. It's a pretty obvious scam with almost no liklihood of success--certainly not with me. I will ignore it and move on to things I'm interested in. I'd put the bother about the level of a gnat buzzing my face--but an interesting gnat. Jerry
I like how he says that if you don't email him he'll cancel your bid and leave negative feedback. Hey guess what... you can't leave feedback for someone who's bid you've cancelled.

Sure, but it happens, it isn't the first time, and it isn't the last. You forgot to toss in "modern crap".

Only because the auction was closed early by the seller (or hijacker). This happens on every auction that is closed.
Go to the sellers store, there is another auction up where the "Ask the seller a Question" is active.
The feedback shows two closed auction which do not have this particular format (where the trext of the auction is an img) so it is possible that the account was hijacked.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I would run away from ones like that.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
