Pop 1, 1983-P quarter and probably the only one in the entire clad series!!!
1983-P PCGS PO01.......pop 1 for date and probably pop 1 for the entire 1965-date series in PO01. Imagine how much handling this coin had to get to this level in just 23 years (ok, don't imagine, jst look at it). Thanks to Jeremy (airplanenut) for discovering this "beauty".

It should be easy to tell in hand so I assumed they got this right. I'm beginning to suspect you're right though.
edited to add that the middle of the "3" in '83 does not extend so far to the left as this one appears to.
